Shopify Email is an email marketing tool available on all Shopify plans. Each month, Shopify gives merchants 10,000 free emails to send.
If you exceed this limit, you’ll be charged $1 for every additional 1,000 emails up to 300,000. After that, the rate drops to $0.65 per 1,000 emails, and for usage over 750,000 emails, the cost decreases further to $0.55 per 1,000 emails​. These charges are added to your monthly Shopify bill under marketing costs.
Note: Emails are counted based on the number of unique recipients, so sending one email to 800 subscribers counts as 800 emails.
Abandoned checkout emails are always free to send and don’t count toward your monthly limit. Unused emails don't roll over to the next month, so they must be used within the calendar month.
