If your inventory exceeds Amazon’s storage capacity limit, you might be hit with an Inventory Storage Overage Fee. This fee is calculated monthly based on the seller’s Inventory Performance Index (IPI). It applies when Amazon seller’s inventory goes beyond the allocated space in Amazon's fulfillment centers, and it's measured by the volume (in cubic feet) of excess inventory.
Note: These fees might be much higher than the standard storage costs.
