COMPENSATED_CLAWBACK, or Reversal of previous refunds, is charged when Amazon reverses a reimbursement previously issued to a seller. This typically happens when the marketplace initially reimburses you, as a seller, for lost or damaged inventory but later finds the missing inventory. Amazon deducts or "claws back" the reimbursement amount from your account to make up for the recovered inventory.
This adjustment can also happen if there was an overpayment or an error during the reimbursement process, which Amazon corrects by deducting the excess funds from the seller’s account.
