The Amazon Chargeback Refund fee occurs when a buyer disputes a charge on their credit card and requests a chargeback through their bank. If the seller doesn't dispute the claim within the provided time frame, the seller’s account is debited the disputed amount.
They will charge a $20 chargeback fee, even if you lose the dispute. There's no fee, however, if the case falls under Amazon's A-to-Z Guarantee or Payment Protection Policy.
