The seller receives the Chargeback Recovery amount once the chargeback is successfully disputed and the payment is recovered. This also applies when Amazon decides that the chargeback was legitimate due to circumstances beyond the seller’s control, for example, fraudulent use of a credit card. If something like that occurs, the Amazon seller is protected, and the recovered amount is credited to the account, so the seller isn’t penalized for the disputes they were not involved in.
