Buyer Recharge

Amazon applies the Buyer Recharge to sellers when a previously refunded order is recharged to the buyer’s account. This typically happens when a buyer is reimbursed for a purchase (for example, due to a customer service issue), but then Amazon reverses or withdraws the refund.

It usually occurs if Amazon reviews the situation and finds that the refund was unjustified, such as when a claim is resolved in favor of the seller or when the buyer’s issue is no longer valid.
