Fees for Classified Ad Listing Format

On eBay, classified ads serve as a way for sellers to create detailed advertisements for their items without the auction or fixed-price selling formats. Unlike standard eBay listings, classified ads don’t facilitate direct purchases through the platform. Instead, they allow buyers to contact the seller directly to negotiate and arrange sales off the platform.

The fee structure for Classified Ads is straightforward: a $9.95 insertion fee for a 30-day listing, and no final value fee once the item sells. However, there are some category restrictions. Classified Ads can only be used in specific categories:

1. Business & Industrial:

• Building Materials & Supplies → Modular & Pre-Fabricated Buildings;
• Office → Trade Show Displays;
• Websites & Businesses for Sale.

2. Specialty Services;
3. Travel (excluding Lodging, Luggage, and Vintage Luggage & Travel Accessories);
4. Everything Else:

• eBay User Tools;
• Funeral & Cemetery;
• Information Products;
• Reward Points and Incentives Programs.
