Liquidations
Amazon’s FBA Liquidations program allows sellers to recover some value from excess or customer-returned inventory stored in Amazon’s fulfillment centers. When a seller liquidates inventory through this program, Amazon works with third-party liquidators who purchase the excess stock at a discounted rate. The process incurs two main fees:
- Per-item processing fee: Based on size and weight, ranging from $0.25 to $1.90 per item;
- Referral fee: 15% on the gross recovery value.
Both are deducted from the final payout.
