This guide explains what Premium Integrations are in Synder, which platforms qualify as premium, how to add them, and how trial users can test them before subscribing.
Use this guide if you:
- are connecting Magento, Walmart, Faire, TikTok Shop, Ecwid, ShipStation, Squarespace, BigCommerce, or the Transactions API to Synder
- see a premium integration label on a platform during connection
- are about to hit your premium integration slot limit and want to know what to do next
Important: Premium Integrations are available only on the Pro and Pro Max plans. They are not part of Essential. If you are currently on a free trial, see Trying Premium Integrations During a Trial below for the unlock process.
What is a Premium Integration?
A Premium Integration is a payment platform or data source that needs more advanced setup, custom mapping, or higher-volume processing than a standard integration. Because these platforms require extra setup and ongoing support, they are offered only on the Pro and Pro Max plans.
The current Premium Integrations in Synder are:
- Magento
- Walmart
- Faire
- TikTok Shop
- Ecwid
- ShipStation
- Squarespace
- BigCommerce
- Transactions API (custom data sources via API)
All other integrations, such as Stripe, Shopify, Amazon, PayPal, Square, and WooCommerce, are standard. Standard integrations are available on every paid plan, including Essential.
How Premium Integrations work on each Synder plan
Premium Integrations are included starting with the Pro plan. In short, here is how each plan handles them:
- Essential: Premium Integrations are not available.
- Pro: includes 2 Premium Integration slots. You can connect any 2 of the platforms listed above.
- Pro Max: includes unlimited Premium Integrations. Connect as many as you need.
For example, if you are on Pro and need a third Premium Integration, the only way to add it is to upgrade to Pro Max.
How to add a Premium Integration
Before you start, confirm your account is on the Pro or Pro Max plan. You can check your current plan under Settings > Billing. If you are on Essential, upgrade first, because Premium Integrations cannot be added on Essential. If you are on a free trial, read the next section before continuing.
Once your plan is ready, follow these steps:
- Go to Settings > Integrations in Synder.
- Click Add Integration and pick the premium platform you want to connect.
- Follow the platform-specific connection steps. Synder will guide you through authentication and initial setup.
- Once connected, configure the integration’s settings, such as sales, fees, taxes, and sync mode, the same way you would for a standard platform.
Each Premium Integration uses one of your plan’s premium slots. If you later disconnect a premium platform, the slot becomes available again for a new connection.
Trying Premium Integrations during a trial
Synder’s free trial lets you explore the product and decide whether a Premium Integration fits your workflow. However, full access during a trial is unlocked only after a short conversation with our team. This step makes sure the integration is set up correctly for your business.
Here is how the process works:
- Start (or continue) your Synder trial and let us know which Premium Integration you would like to use.
- Book a short discovery call with our sales team. They will walk through your setup, the volume you process, and the platforms you want to connect.
- Get the Premium Integration unlocked on your trial. If a Pro or Pro Max plan is a good fit for your business, the team enables the Premium Integration on your trial account so you can fully test it end-to-end before subscribing.
Once your trial ends, continued access to Premium Integrations requires an active Pro or Pro Max subscription.
What happens if you hit your slot limit
If you try to add a Premium Integration after using all of your slots, Synder will block the connection and prompt you to upgrade. In that case, you have two options:
- Free up a slot by disconnecting a premium platform you no longer need.
- Upgrade to Pro Max to remove the slot limit entirely. See the upgrade guide for steps.
Common questions about Premium Integrations
Is the Transactions API a Premium Integration?
Yes. The Transactions API, used to push data into Synder from platforms that aren’t natively supported, counts as a Premium Integration and uses one slot on your plan.
Can I use Premium Integrations on the Essential plan?
No. Premium Integrations are not available on Essential. To connect any of the platforms listed above, you will need to upgrade to Pro (2 slots) or Pro Max (unlimited).
Can I try a Premium Integration on a free trial?
Yes, with one extra step. Book a short discovery call with our team so they can review your setup and the platforms you want to connect. If Pro or Pro Max suits your business, they will enable the Premium Integration on your trial account so you can fully test it before subscribing. See Trying Premium Integrations during a trial above for the full flow.
Do Premium Integrations cost extra on top of my plan?
No. Premium Integrations are included in the price of your Pro or Pro Max plan up to the slot limit (2 for Pro, unlimited for Pro Max). There is no per-integration add-on fee.
How do I know how many slots I’m using?
Open Settings > Integrations in Synder. Each connected platform is labeled, and premium ones are marked accordingly. Count the premium-labeled platforms to see your current usage.
