Tips and tricks
- If a transaction type is not supported, it will either be absent from the Platform transactions tab or marked as “Not parsed.” If it’s the latter case, you can export such transactions and manually enter them in your accounting company.
- If the synchronization of payouts is not supported for your platform, create a banking rule in your accounting company. Check this helpful guide for reference. Although the guide uses Authorize.Net as an example, the logic applies to similar platforms.
- For those integrations that do not provide Synder with the processing fees information, we recommend creating the following entries once a month:
- Expense for QuickBooks Online;
- Check for QuickBooks Desktop;
- Bill+payment/spend money for Xero.
Check this guide to find out which platforms do not give Synder fee information and how to handle them.
To ensure all your transaction types are accurately recorded, review your integrations regularly. Certain platforms may update their transaction types, so keeping up-to-date is crucial for maintaining accurate records. Additionally, if your payment providers introduce new transaction types, make sure to categorize them properly in your accounting system.
