Reconciliation is essential for ensuring your financial records are accurate and up-to-date. In this guide, we will walk you through the process of reconciling Journal Entries in Sage Intacct. Follow these steps for accurate and efficient reconciliation.

Step 1: Make sure your summary is successfully synced from your integration to Sage Intacct.

Step 2: Start with the journal entries reconciliation process, by navigating to Cash Management > Checking

Step 3: Select the bank account you need to reconcile journal entries for and click on the Reconcile button.

Step 4: Fill in the required information:

  • Account to reconcile
  • Statement ending date
  • Statement ending balance

Fields with an asterisk (*) are required.

Step 5: Filter the transaction type by All and click Filter

Step 6: Look for the Journal Entry (JE) from your list of internal transactions. Once you find it, click on the Match button.

Step 7: Now, you can match it with the corresponding transaction on your bank statement.
Note: You cannot save the match unless the total balance is zero.

And there you have it! The journal entries reconciliation is complete. Repeat the steps above for the rest of your transactions.
