By Fathom

QuickBooks Connect has been on everyone’s minds lately — and rightly so! Some of the best talent in small business, accounting and entrepreneurship is going to be there, connecting, inspiring and quite literally creating the future. We are grateful to our friends at Fathom for putting together this helpful list of top sessions you just can’t miss if you are attending this year’s sold out event.

2. Setting Up Your QuickBooks Online® Company — Part Six

by Alicia Katz Pollock MAT, ACN, MOSwith William Murphy IA’s Senior Editor

Our clients love these series, focusing on all things QuickBooks beginners might ever need or have questions about. Part 6 of the series focuses on Charts of Accounts, subaccounts and the limits of different subscription plans with regards to how many accounts one can have.

You can only create up to 250 accounts within your Chart of Accounts if you are using QBO Simple Start, Essentials or Plus. If you are using one of those versions and need to create more than 250 accounts then you will need to upgrade to QuickBooks Online Advanced.

3. Tax Tips for Military Families

This timely reminder helps us in looking back at some of those benefits military families are entitled to in terms of expenses, tax and finances.
