    \nSmart Rules work in Xero the same way they work in QuickBooks — you pick a trigger<\/strong>, add conditions<\/strong>, and choose an action<\/strong>. This guide covers what is specific to Xero: which entities you can build rules around, which actions are available, and where the Xero API sets limits.

    Before you start: load your Xero data<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    Synder does not pull Xero data automatically. This keeps API usage under control. Until you load it, your rule dropdowns stay empty.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    In the rule builder, click Fetch data from Xero<\/strong> at the bottom of the left panel. Synder then pulls your accounts, contacts, items and tracking categories.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    The panel also shows a Last fetched<\/strong> timestamp. Added a new account, contact or tracking category in Xero? Click the button again to pull it in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
