When eBay deducts a loan repayment from your payout, Synder syncs it as an <strong>expense<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Synder creates the following transaction type from eBay Seller Capital activity:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Loan repayment<\/strong> \u2014 a repayment deducted from your payout \u2192 synced as an expense<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To make sure these transactions land in the right account in your books, follow the steps below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 1: Set up the Lending liability account in Fees settings<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Synder has a dedicated <strong>Lending liability<\/strong> field in your eBay integration settings. You need to manually record the initial loan amount in your accounting platform. <strong>Use the same account you set up in Step 1.<\/strong> That way, as Synder syncs each repayment, your outstanding loan balance decreases automatically \u2014 making it easy to track how much you have left to pay off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Step 3: Sync Loan repayment transactions<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Once your settings are in place, sync your eBay Seller Capital transactions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to <em>Platform transactions<\/em> and look for the <em>Loan repayment<\/em> transaction type.<br><strong><em>Note<\/em><\/strong><em>: If you don&#8217;t see them, use the manual import option in the top-right corner of the Platform Transactions tab.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select the transactions and sync them to the books: <em>Actions<\/em> \u2192 <em>Sync.<\/em><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check that the created expenses are correctly categorized in the books.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"summary-sync\">Summary Sync users<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>On Summary Sync, eBay Seller Capital loan repayments appear as a separate <strong>Loans<\/strong> group in your daily summary mapping table. Map this group to the appropriate liability account \u2014 the <strong>same account where you recorded your initial loan<\/strong>. This keeps your outstanding balance accurate as Synder syncs each repayment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That&#8217;s it!
