The Dashboard is for <strong>monitoring and navigation only<\/strong> \u2014 every block links to the page where you actually take action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In short, use this guide to understand each Dashboard block, <strong>triage failed syncs in bulk<\/strong> in Per Transaction mode, or run a quick health check across companies. Reading it from top to bottom, here is what you see, in the order it appears above.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Top strip<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Three at-a-glance metrics for the selected date range (default: last 30 days):<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Time saved<\/strong> \u2014 estimated bookkeeping time Synder saved you in the period (for example, ~186h). See <a href=\"#time-saved-calculation\">How Time saved is calculated<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Sync score<\/strong> \u2014 the share of your transactions that are correctly in your books (for example, 99%). See <a href=\"#sync-score-calculation\">How Sync score is calculated<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><strong>Needs attention<\/strong> \u2014 the number of transactions that may need your review; click it to open them. See <a href=\"#needs-attention-statuses\">Needs attention: the 8 statuses it counts<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Import<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The total number of transactions imported from your connected integrations in the selected period, with a per-platform breakdown underneath. Click a platform\u2019s count to open its imported transactions. If Synder <strong>Revenue Recognition<\/strong> is enabled, a RevRec sub-block appears here with per-status subscription counts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Sync<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The total number of transactions synchronized to your books, with a status breakdown below it (for example, <strong>Synced<\/strong>, <strong>Failed<\/strong>, <strong>Ready to sync<\/strong>, <strong>Deleted<\/strong>, <strong>Pending<\/strong>). Only statuses with transactions in the period are shown. Click any count to open those transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Accounting<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Your connected accounting system (for example, QuickBooks Online) and its connection status. Use <strong>Manage<\/strong> to open the connection settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Integrations<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Every integration account connected to your organization. Each row shows the integration, the account name, a connection-status badge (<strong>Connected<\/strong> or <strong>Connection lost<\/strong>), and its <strong>Auto-import<\/strong> and <strong>Auto-sync<\/strong> states (on, partially on, or off). Use <strong>Settings<\/strong> on a row to manage that integration. When any integration shows <strong>Connection lost<\/strong>, an alert also appears at the top of the Dashboard.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"top-strip-metrics\"><strong>Top strip: Time saved, Sync score, and Needs attention<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the top of the Per Transaction Dashboard, a single strip shows three at-a-glance metrics for the selected date range: <strong>Time saved<\/strong>, <strong>Sync score<\/strong>, and <strong>Needs attention<\/strong>. The sections below explain how each is calculated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"time-saved-calculation\"><strong>How Time saved is calculated<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Time saved<\/strong> estimates the bookkeeping work Synder completed for you during the selected period, based on completed sync activity and the automation applied to those transactions, compared to how long that work would take by hand. It is an estimate, not a measurement of your own time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The estimate adds up the accounting records Synder creates and the extra automation it runs during a successful sync, so two accounts with the same transaction count can show different Time saved. It follows the Dashboard date range and is available for activity tracked from <strong>May 1, 2026<\/strong> onward.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>~5h<\/strong> (or similar) when the estimate is 1 hour or more.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Under 1h<\/strong> when it is above 0 but below 1 hour.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>No data<\/strong> when there is no counted activity for the period.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Each successful sync adds a few estimated minutes per piece of work Synder did for you:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-table\"><table><thead><tr><th>Work Synder does<\/th><th>Estimated time<\/th><\/tr><\/thead><tbody><tr><td>Creates an accounting record (sale, payment, fee, refund, transfer\u2026)<\/td><td><strong>1 min<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Matches a processor payment to its e-commerce order<\/td><td><strong>4 min<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Applies a Smart Rule<\/td><td><strong>2 min<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Applies a custom sync modification<\/td><td><strong>2 min<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Applies revenue recognition<\/td><td><strong>2 min<\/strong><\/td><\/tr><\/tbody><\/table><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For the full per-action breakdown and ways to increase it, see <a href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/how-to-increase-time-saved-in-synder\/\">How to increase Time saved in Synder<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"sync-score-calculation\"><strong>How Sync score is calculated<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Sync score<\/strong> is the share of counted transactions that are in your books for the selected period: Synder divides <strong>Synced and Skipped<\/strong> transactions by all counted transactions, multiplies by 100, and rounds down. So 99.9% shows as <strong>99%<\/strong>, and you see 100% only when every counted transaction is in your books. The number is clickable and opens those transactions filtered to these statuses:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Failed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rollback failed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Synced with rule failed<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Canceled<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Rollback canceled<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Synced with warnings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Deleted with warnings<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Not parsed<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">When the count is <strong>0<\/strong>, the cell shows <strong>All clear<\/strong>. These are the same 8 statuses that lower your Sync score.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"troubleshooting-moved\">Looking for sync errors, import logs, or sync speed<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>Synchronization issues<\/strong>, <strong>Import activity log<\/strong>, and <strong>Sync speed<\/strong> views now live under the <strong>Troubleshooting<\/strong> section in the left-hand menu, not on the Dashboard. The <strong>Synchronization Issues<\/strong> tab groups them by error (e.g., &#8220;Entity cannot be synchronized without Product or Service&#8221; with 312 affected). Fix the root cause, click <strong>See related transactions<\/strong>, and resync the batch in one go.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>An adjustment on the accounting side breaks syncs<\/strong><br>For example, a teammate renames a tax code or archives an income account in QuickBooks Online or Xero, causing silent failures. <strong>Synchronization Issues<\/strong> highlights the new error group with the exact message and count at login\u2014fix the setting and clear the backlog without guesswork.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Bookkeeper reviewing multiple clients<\/strong><br>Managing several Synder accounts leaves no time for deep dives. Per client, the Dashboard shows Mappings configured, Products verified, integrations <strong>Connected<\/strong>, and Synchronization counts clean\u2014so you can spot issues in seconds and prioritize the worst.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Silent integration disconnection<\/strong><br>Token expirations or platform password changes disconnect integrations quietly, leading to missing data. In that case, the orange <strong>Connection lost<\/strong> banner and the integration badge alert you immediately \u2014 one click to <strong>Go to Organization settings<\/strong> reauthenticates and resumes sync.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Recurring summary issues (Summary Sync)<\/strong><br>Daily Summaries show <strong>Partially synced<\/strong> or <strong>Attention required<\/strong> trends. Dashboard blocks surface counts in Summary completeness and Synchronization\u2014click to open affected summaries, read alerts, fix causes, and rebuild.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Auto-sync turned off unexpectedly (Per Transaction)<\/strong><br>A teammate disables auto-sync during troubleshooting, or it switches off after a connection issue, piling up transactions. The Integrations panel flags <strong>Auto-sync is off<\/strong>\u2014click <strong>Settings<\/strong>, re-enable the toggles you need, and process the backlog.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"faq-706cec3e-f596-427f-8cb4-e818ba1775d9\"><strong>FAQ<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Where do I find the Dashboard?<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>First, click <strong>Dashboard<\/strong> in the left-hand menu\u2014it&#8217;s near the top of the navigation. Synder also opens the Dashboard by default the moment you sign in, so most users won&#8217;t need to navigate to it manually.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why doesn&#8217;t my Summary Sync Dashboard have a Synchronization Issues tab?<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>At the moment, the grouped error view is available in Per Transaction sync only. In Summary Sync, the Synchronization block on the Dashboard already shows you the per-status counts (Failed, Partially synced, Ready to sync, and so on), and clicking any of those counts takes you straight to the matching tab on the Summaries list\u2014that&#8217;s the equivalent path for Summary Sync users today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>What&#8217;s the difference between the Synchronization Issues tab and the Transactions list? (Per Transaction)<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>In short, the <strong>Transactions list<\/strong> shows every transaction, one per row, regardless of whether it synced. The Synchronization Issues tab shows one row per unique error message with a count of how many transactions it affects. Use Synchronization Issues when you want to triage failures and act on them in bulk; use the Transactions list when you already know which specific transaction you want to inspect.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why am I only seeing about 500 transactions when I open a large error group? (Per Transaction)<\/strong><br>When you click <strong>See related transactions<\/strong>, the filtered view uses a saved search. <strong>The saved search returns up to ~500 results at a time<\/strong>, and the UI shows a warning when a group is bigger. Fix the underlying setup, resync the visible batch, then open the group again to load the next ~500.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Why didn&#8217;t the error group disappear right after I re-synced?<\/strong><br>There&#8217;s a short refresh lag of a few minutes between sync completion and the Dashboard. If a group you&#8217;ve already fixed still shows, give it a moment and refresh \u2014 it will clear once Synder catches up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Do synchronization issues include warnings, or only failures?<\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>In other words, it includes only failed and canceled synchronizations. Transactions in the Synced with warnings status still count as posted to your books, so they aren&#8217;t surfaced as a group here. If you want to review warnings, open the Transactions list and filter by status.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>My Dashboard shows zero transactions but I know I have data. Why?<\/strong><br>Counts on the Summary Sync Dashboard reflect <strong>the last 90 days only<\/strong>. Older transactions are still in your books but won&#8217;t appear in the counters.
