Deactivate the product in QuickBooks Online<\/em><\/strong><strong><br><\/strong><strong><br><\/strong>To resolve the issue, deactivate the product in <strong>QuickBooks<\/strong> <strong>Online<\/strong>, allowing Synder to create a new product. Alternatively, you can manually create a new product in your accounting platform.<br><br>Make sure to use the same name and SKU as listed on your sales platform to ensure the product matches correctly. Once the product has been deactivated or archived, return to the failed transaction in <strong>Synder<\/strong> and click <strong>Sync again<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to deactivate the product:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to <strong>QuickBooks Online<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <strong>Sales<\/strong> tab and select <strong>Products &amp; services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Locate the product and click <strong>Make inactive<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Create a new product<br><\/strong>After deactivating the existing product, you can either allow Synder to automatically create the product or create it manually by following the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Log in to <strong>QuickBooks Online<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Go to the <strong>Settings<\/strong> (gear icon) in the top-right corner.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Under <strong>Lists<\/strong>, select <strong>Products and services<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click the <strong>New<\/strong> button.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Fill in the necessary details for the new product.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Save and close<\/strong> or <strong>Save and new<\/strong> if you wish to add more products.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><em>2. Using Product Mapping to link the product to a different inventory item<\/em><br><br><\/strong>If you prefer, you can link the product to a different inventory item using <strong>Product Mapping<\/strong>, available with <strong>Essential<\/strong>, <strong>Pro<\/strong>, and <strong>Premium<\/strong> plans.<br><br>For example, if the product causing the error is &#8220;Matcha,&#8221; you can map it to another inventory item such as &#8220;Coffee.&#8221; In your accounting platform, it would be listed as &#8220;Coffee&#8221;, but it would still be linked to &#8220;Matcha&#8221; from your sales platform.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To map products in Synder:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. Go to <strong>Synder Settings<\/strong> and select the <strong>Products and Services<\/strong> tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2. Click <strong>Add Line<\/strong> to add a new mapping.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>3. from the dropdown (left field), choose your <strong>QuickBooks<\/strong> products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>4. In the right field, enter the product names from your sales platform. Ensure the names are identical to those used on your payment platform (including any colons, underscores, etc.).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>5. Click <strong>Update<\/strong> to save your settings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/lh7-rt.googleusercontent.com\/docsz\/AD_4nXcR67rNg7gBL68ZH6sOBh43HZu57fE8z5j2k8t9LKFmEzfplF6YzcULbUPN-TbiipJrnJWTlWshh7OqB_qQAfks1uARQkM7f09BycPYbS0_9RbEHm7EOBK2NZZ6nqX3uOH2_uPYjg?key=ADo_MB_xwSMWHl0vYu5h8wz9\" width=\"624\" height=\"469\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>6.
