Supported values: Invoice, Refund.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Transaction Id*<\/td><td>Specify the unique ID of the transaction. If the transaction with the same ID is found, it will be updated according to the information in the imported Excel file.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Subscription Id<\/td><td>Specify the subscription ID. Use the same ID for multiple transactions if you want to link them to a single subscription.<br><strong>Note<\/strong>: If left blank, the Transaction ID will be used as a subscription ID.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Customer name*<\/td><td>Specify the customer name.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Line item name*<\/td><td>Specify the line item (product) name.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Line subtotal*<\/td><td>Specify the amount associated with the product.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Discount amount<\/td><td>Specify any discounts associated with this item line.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Tax amount<\/td><td>Specify any taxes associated with this item line.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Tax inclusive<\/td><td>Specify the tax application mode. Possible values: True, False.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Source currency<\/td><td>Specify the currency of your transaction.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Exchange rate<\/td><td>Specify the exchange rate if the currency of your transaction is different from the home currency.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Transaction Date*<\/td><td>Specify the transaction date (e.g. invoice, refund date).<br><strong>Note:<\/strong> Make sure the date is after the revenue recognition start date set in your Revenue Recognition configurations.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Recognition start date*<\/td><td>Specify the service period start date.<\/td><\/tr><tr><td>Recognition end date*<\/td><td>Specify the service period end date.<br><strong>Note: <\/strong>The last day of the service period will be excluded, since for recurring invoices, the next invoice might fall on that date. As soon as the transaction with the same ID is found, it will be updated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This is how you can do that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare your file and make sure it contains the correct data this time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double-check that the transaction ID matches the transaction you want to update.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If Synder also syncs entries to your books, be sure to roll back the synced journal entries.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Import the file again.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> You cannot update the transactions or subscriptions imported from Stripe if you use Excel integration. For these subscriptions, Stripe is the source of truth.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"when-to-use-excel-synchronization-in-revrec\">When to Use Excel Synchronization in RevRec<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Synder&#8217;s built-in Revenue Recognition works natively with <strong>Stripe<\/strong> only. For other platforms, uploading invoices separately to RevRec for deferred revenue handling solves this limitation<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"use-case-1-invoices-already-in-books-recognition-o\">Use Case 1: Invoices Already in Books (Recognition Only)<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When<\/strong>: Invoices reach books via regular Synder sync or third-party tool.
