How to enter fees information:<\/h2><\/p>\n\n\n\n
Note:<\/strong> We suggest that you do this at the end of each month to account for monthly fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In QuickBooks Online<\/h3>\n\n\n\n
- Click on “New” in the upper-left corner and choose “Expense.”<\/li>
- Fill out all the details such as the amount, the payee name, the date (typically the end of the month you account for the fees), select the payment account and the category of fees (classification used to organize and track processing fees).<\/li>
- Save it.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n
Note 1:<\/em><\/strong> To check it, go to your payment provider’s website and log in \u2192 look for “Transactions,” “Activity,” “Payments,” or “Sales” in the main menu \u2192 click on a transaction to see detailed information, including fees \u2192 then go to “Reports” or “Statements” to generate or download fee summaries.
