    Managing reconciliation for ecommerce businesses, particularly those operating on platforms like Amazon, eBay, Shopify<\/em><\/strong> and Stripe <\/em><\/strong>can often present challenges. The daily reconciliation of financial data can become less efficient as a result of the reporting characteristics of these platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Platforms like Stripe <\/em>offer balance change reports for any given date, providing clear insights into financial activities. However, Amazon, eBay, Shopify<\/em> tend to provide more consistent and detailed information through summary reports generated based on payouts rather than daily transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    To align financial data with these payout-based summaries for smoother reconciliation, Synder offers Per Payout synchronization, making it an efficient solution for ecommerce operations on these platforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    How the Per payout period works<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

    If you’re currently aggregating your summaries daily and would prefer them to be organized per payout, follow these steps in Synder:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 1<\/strong>. Go to Settings <\/em>on the left-side menu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 2<\/strong>. Stay on the General <\/em>tab.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 3<\/strong>. Find the section \u2018Summary period<\/em>\u2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Step 4.<\/strong> Select the \u2018Per Payout<\/em>\u2019 option near the platform you\u2019d like to sync using this mode. <\/p>\n\n\n

    Note*: Currently, the Per Payout Summary period is available for Amazon, eBay, Shopify and Stripe integrations. For other platforms, switching to the Per Payout Summary period synchronization is currently unavailable.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Note**: In case you notice some inconsistencies in your books after the switch and see duplicated data as the same transactions are included in both Per-Payout summaries and Daily ones, please contact our Support team and we will address this matter for you. <\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    With the Per Payout Summary period enabled, summaries for Amazon, eBay, Shopify and Stripe will capture and aggregate all transactions associated with a specific payout. This ensures that the summary totals directly correspond to the payout amounts displayed on your ecommerce platform or payment processor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
