Auto-sync is enabled for your Square account in Synder, the pending payment will automatically sync.<\/li>\n<li>If Auto-sync is disabled, the transaction is released for sync within 24\u201348 hours.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Don\u2019t worry \u2014 any transactions already in Synder won\u2019t be duplicated during this process.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"a-more-automated-resolution-9bd73dfb-2430-4119-a0b9-73b818793521\">A More Automated Resolution<\/h2>\n<p>Additionally, if your Square setup requires frequent manual updates to order statuses, we offer a custom configuration that allows syncing any order as long as a payment (tender) is present.<\/p>\n<p>To learn more, contact our support team \u2014 they can confirm whether this setup works the Pending Order in Square&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>However, in some cases the pending order shown in Synder no longer exists in Square.<\/p>\n<p>You may notice that:<\/p>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Clicking the Square order link in Synder opens an error message in Square<\/li>\n<li>The order cannot be found in Square search or Orders<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"870\" id=\"why-this-happensnbsp-ec67b3b1-a9ec-4866-a91e-dc6e30add62c\"><strong>Why This Happens&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If Square edits an order or adjusts its details, it automatically creates a new order and deletes the old one.<\/li>\n<li>The same happens when the initial payment fails and Square processes a second attempt successfully.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>As a result, the old Square order stays stuck in Pending in Synder while the new one syncs. This is expected \u2014 it reflects how Square manages order updates internally.<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-handle-stuck-pending-ordersnbsp-061b02f1-5c21-4a0f-aaac-9408316930b5\"><strong>How to Handle Stuck Pending Orders&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>If the original pending order no longer exists in Square, you can archive the outdated transaction in Synder. You have two options for archiving it:<\/p>\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"option-1-archive-transactions-manuallynbsp-37ed561f-07f5-4f39-a03c-8089a9937d28\"><strong>Option 1: Archive Transactions Manually&nbsp;<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>To prevent clutter in Platform Transactions and avoid unnecessary pending entries in your summaries, use the <strong>Archive<\/strong> feature.
