id=\"step-3-test-syncing-a-small-set-of-transactions-aa1ee7eb-7946-4190-b4d6-9d9aa3f36a96\"><strong>Step 3: Test syncing a small set of transactions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Before syncing a large number of transactions, we recommend running a test sync.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open Platform transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select a small number of transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click Sync.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check your accounting platform to confirm that the results look correct for your accounting needs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If yes, sync the remaining transactions. You can do so either by selecting them individually or in bulk.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"nbspstep-4-adjust-the-settings-optional-c972928d-9a47-4ed5-91fa-c5ce9370db98\"><strong>Step 4: Adjust the settings (optional)<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>If needed, review or adjust your settings in the Settings section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you are unsure which settings to use, contact the Synder support team \u2014 we can help review your setup and suggest adjustments.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"how-to-check-that-per-transaction-sync-is-working-right-6b9868f6-21f5-4cc2-865a-fe19cd3a7d66\"><strong>How to check that Per Transaction Sync is working correctly<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>This section helps you confirm that Per Transaction Sync is functioning correctly and that data is flowing from Synder to your accounting system as expected.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then keep your checklist:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>You see transactions listed in the Transactions tab in Synder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When you click <strong>Sync<\/strong>, transactions successfully change their status to Synced in Synder.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>New transactions appear on your books, inside the clearing account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"important-details-to-know-5a9464c0-add2-4e9c-a52c-4bdd49e1b1bc\"><strong>Important details to know<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Per Transaction Sync posts each financial event to your accounting system as a separate record. The notes below explain how this behavior affects reporting, data structure, and switching between sync modes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Per Transaction Sync creates multiple individual records in your accounting platform, such as separate sales, refunds, expenses, payments, and related customers or products created as part of those transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>This mode is best suited for detailed reporting and transaction\u2011level review.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Data synced using Per Transaction Sync cannot be converted into summaries inside the same organization. To use Summary Sync, you must create a new organization, and the change applies only to future data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"troubleshooting-7ee5666c-03ca-4233-8867-a9930ed15363\"><strong>Troubleshooting<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Use the steps below to diagnose common Per Transaction Sync issues and verify how transactions are posted in your accounting platform before making any configuration changes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Problem: If you synced transactions, but don\u2019t see them in your accounting platform.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What to do:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Check the sync status in the Transactions list and confirm that the transaction is in status Synced. Scroll down until you see the documents Synder created in your accounting software.
