<strong>&#8220;Continue with these settings.&#8221;<\/strong> You can change these settings any time after onboarding.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At this stage, Synder lets you import up to <strong>two months<\/strong> of historical data to test the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You will see two options:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Import to Synder<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sync to Books<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We recommend starting with <strong>Import to Synder<\/strong> for your first import.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Here&#8217;s the difference:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Import to Synder<\/strong> \u2192 Transactions are imported into Synder only (not pushed to your accounting system).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Sync to Books<\/strong> \u2192 Transactions are imported and immediately synced to your accounting platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<figure your Synder organization:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Click the <strong>User icon<\/strong> (top right corner).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Open <strong>Organization Settings<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check your integrations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>All connected platforms should show the status <strong>&#8220;Connected.&#8221;<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure first, so you can review them before syncing to your accounting system. With <strong>Import to Synder<\/strong>, transactions appear with the <strong>&#8220;Ready to sync&#8221;<\/strong> status \u2014 they are prepared but not yet pushed to your books.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You can also enable <strong>Auto Sync<\/strong> to send transactions to your accounting platform automatically once they are imported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have questions about <strong>Auto Sync<\/strong> behavior, account mapping, or other settings, or if you want a quick setup checklist for Per-Transaction mode, see <a href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/synder-settings-checklist-first-sync\/\">this guide<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"step-3-test-syncing-a-small-set-of-transactions-4ae671e4-5fc9-472c-b545-03bf39419172\"><strong>Step 3:<\/strong> Test syncing a small set of transactions<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Before syncing a large volume of data, run a quick test:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open <strong>Platform Transactions<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select a small number of transactions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Sync<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Check your accounting platform.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Make sure the results match your accounting expectations.
