Continue reading to learn how to build the rule needed and automate the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>*Rules work on the basis of \u2018if-then\u2019 conditions \u2013 so you can create flows and make Synder adapt to your needs. The process contains 2 phases:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Synchronization of a transaction from the payment processor or e-commerce channel to your accounting system.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Update of the created QuickBooks transaction based on the information inside of it, which happens almost instantly based on the conditions of the rule.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><b>Overview:<\/b><\/p>\n<ol>\n\t<li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#1\">Set up classes in QuickBooks<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#2\">Building a rule in Synder to classify items<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#3\">Classified transactions and details Reports in QuickBooks<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><h2 id=\"1\"><strong>Set up classes in QuickBooks<\/strong><\/h2><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>First, make sure that class tracking in QuickBooks Online is <strong>enabled <\/strong>and is working<strong> per line (row) <\/strong>as QuickBooks provides 2 modes of class tracking (per transactions and per line). If class tracking is disabled, please, check out how to <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/enable-classes-in-quickbooks-online\/\" target=\"_blank\">enable classes in QuickBooks<\/a>.<br>Once classes are enabled, please create a needed set of classes in your QuickBooks first, then you will be able to use them in Synder. Follow these steps to create classes in QuickBooks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Go to QuickBooks \u2018Settings\u2019 \u2699 and then \u2018All Lists\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select \u2018Classes\u2019.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select \u2018New\u2019.
