But what if the transactions\/summaries don\u2019t show up?<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><strong>Overview:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ol>\n\t<li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#1\">Reason 1. There are no transactions in your account at the payment platform\/sales channel.<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#2\">Reason 2. Not all the payment gateways were connected (for ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc.).<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n\t<li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#3\">Reason 3. The most recent transactions in your payment system occurred more than 30 days ago (on a trial).<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n        <li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#4\">Reason 4. You connected a sandbox (test) account.<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n        <li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#5\">Reason 5. You tried to connect integrations over several Synder sessions.<\/a><\/p><\/li>\n<li style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><p style=\"margin-bottom: 5px\"><a href=\"#6\">Reason 6. There are no transactions in your account at the payment platform\/sales channel.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Firstly, you need to check if the payment platforms\/sales channels you\u2019ve connected to Synder have <strong>live transactions<\/strong>. If you\u2019re launching a business or starting to take payments through online sources and don\u2019t have any sales yet, you can wait until you receive your first online payments. If you have the <a href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/how-to-set-up-automatic-synchronization\/\">auto-sync feature<\/a> ON, new transactions\/summaries will appear in Synder automatically within 1\u20132 hours or a day after they happen. If that\u2019s the case, please <strong>wait for your first sales, and Synder will account for them right away, provided that <em>Auto-sync <\/em>is enabled!<\/strong><br><strong>Note<\/strong>: If your <a href=\"https:\/\/go.synder.com\/auth#\/signup\">Trial<\/a> has expired before your first sales, <a href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/contact\/\">talk to our Support team<\/a> to renew it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"2\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px\">Reason 2. Not all the payment gateways were connected (for ecommerce platforms such as Amazon, WooCommerce, BigCommerce, etc.).<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>There are some ecommerce platforms that let you use payment gateways other than their built-in ones. So if such a payment gateway isn\u2019t connected to Synder, no transactions\/summaries will be displayed. In order to see the transactions\/summaries from your ecommerce store such as eBay, Amazon, Etsy, BigCommerce, etc., please <strong>connect any payment gateway you use<\/strong> (PayPal, Stripe, Square, Authorize.net, and more) supported by Synder.&nbsp;<br><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you have a Shopify store and receive payments from customers through \u2018Shopify Payments\u2019, you\u2019ll see its transactions and won\u2019t need to connect a payment gateway separately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To connect a payment platform, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click on the <em>Profile <\/em>icon in the upper-right corner (1) \u2192 select <em>Organization settings<\/em> (2);<\/li><li>Click on <em>Add integration <\/em>(3)<em>;<\/em><\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"404\" src=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/Why-is-my-transactions-list-empty-3-1024x404.png\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-22047\" srcset=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/Why-is-my-transactions-list-empty-3-1024x404.png 1024w, https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/Why-is-my-transactions-list-empty-3-300x118.png 300w, https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/Why-is-my-transactions-list-empty-3-768x303.png 768w, https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/Why-is-my-transactions-list-empty-3-1536x606.png 1536w, https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/Why-is-my-transactions-list-empty-3-60x24.png 60w, https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/Why-is-my-transactions-list-empty-3-150x59.png 150w, https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2024\/06\/Why-is-my-transactions-list-empty-3.png 1873w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\" start=\"3\"><li>Select the platform needed from the dropdown \u2192 hit <em>Connect<\/em><strong>;<\/strong><\/li><li>Choose an account for payouts (usually, your Checking account) that will allow <a href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/payouts-feature-in-synder\/\">smooth reconciliation<\/a> of your platform transactions in one click;<\/li><li>&nbsp;Hit <em>Continue <\/em>to finish the configuration.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> If you&#8217;re using the &#8216;Summary&#8217; mode, there&#8217;s no need to select an account for payouts in the settings. Simply navigate to the <em>Mapping <\/em>tab and map the required accounts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you do so, import the missing transactions:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Go to the <em>Platform transactions\/Summarie<\/em>s tab and click <em>Import historical data<\/em> in the upper-right corner;<\/li><li>Select the needed platform, and period covering missing transactions;<\/li><li>Click on <em>Import to Synder<\/em> to bring the data over to Synder, or <em>Sync to your books <\/em>to bring the data directly to your accounting company.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"3\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px\">Reason 3. The most recent transactions in your payment system occurred more than 30 days ago (on a trial).<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If the transactions aren\u2019t that recent, Synder won\u2019t retrieve them as part of the initial import on a trial. <strong>Please wait until you receive new transactions and import them to Synder.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"4\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px\">Reason 4. You connected a sandbox (test) account.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Synder works only with live transactions, so if your intention is just to test the system, you can <strong>try using a live account with a couple of very small transactions.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"5\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px\">Reason 5. You tried to connect integrations over several Synder sessions.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Going a bit technical here. If you connect your accounting company during one session (say, on Friday), and then connect your payment platform during another session (e.g., on Saturday), the system will count that as two different sessions, and may not be able to do the initial import of transactions. So it\u2019s highly recommended to set everything up in one session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"6\"><span style=\"font-size: 21px\">Reason 6. Connection with a certain platform has been lost.<\/span><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If your payment platform\/sales channel has been disconnected or has the<strong> <em>Connection lost<\/em> <\/strong>status, it can also explain why you have missing transactions\/summaries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The solution is simple:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Click on the <em>Profile <\/em>icon in the upper-right corner \u2192 hit <em>Organization settings<\/em>;<\/li><li>If your payment platform\/sales channel has been disconnected, click on <em>Add integration<\/em>.
