When Synder<\/a> integrates the payment processor with Xero accounting it creates a Clearing bank account (a so-called Holding account) for the temporary storage of synchronized transactions (the same way as the payment processor holds the money for some time before paying it out to your bank). Auto-reconciliation feature allows to mark all the synchronized income and expense transactions in the clearing account<\/a> as \u201creconciled\u201d automatically, this will not affect your checking account reconciliation process.     To enable Synder to mark transactions as reconciled<\/strong>, follow the steps below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to the Settings <\/strong>on the left side menu.<\/li>
    2. Select the integration for which you want to have transactions marked as reconciled in the dropdown.<\/li>
    3. Navigate to the General <\/em>tab.<\/li>
    4. Enable the Auto-reconcile Xero transactions <\/strong>option. <\/li>
    5. Click the Update <\/strong>button to save settings.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Where do I find reconciled transactions in Xero?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to the Bank Accounts<\/em> tab in Xero and open the clearing account used by Synder. E.g.,\u201cStripe (required for Synder)\u201d.<\/li>
      2. Go to Account Transactions<\/em> and see all transactions with the \u201creconciled\u201d status.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Important note<\/strong>: Xero has a restriction that doesn’t allow third-party software to mark Bank Transfer transactions as \u201creconciled\u201d, which means that Synder will synchronize all payouts (settlements) with the \u201cUnreconciled\u201d status. However, you can mark them as \u201creconciled\u201d in Xero.
        Important note 2:<\/strong> If you need to \u201croll back\u201d (delete) payouts, you can’t do it from Synder. Please go ahead and remove them directly in Xero. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
