While using\u00a0Pin Payments Xero integration<\/a>, sometimes Synder will skip the synchronization of payments and create Receive money and Spend money only for a surcharge (Pin Payments fee for processing payments). Such a transaction will be marked as\u00a0Synced with warnings,<\/em>\u00a0which is totally correct behavior of Synder.\u00a0
Let’s figure out when <\/strong>and why <\/strong>it happens.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

When?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This situation can happen when you send an invoice to your client via Xero, receive a payment for it through Pin Payments and the payment is applied to the invoice by Pin Payments means, so you have a paid invoice automatically with no help of Synder.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

This is how Synder works:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. If\u00a0Apply payments to unpaid Invoice\/Bill transactions<\/em>\u00a0feature is enabled in Synder settings, the system will look for and close open invoices automatically using customer name and date.<\/li>
  2. However, if they are already closed (by Pin Payments directly) and the system can see that the difference is equal to Pin Payments fee amount, Synder will sync the charge creating\u00a0Spend Money <\/strong>and Receive Money<\/strong>\u00a0to account for the\u00a0fees<\/strong>\u00a0and\u00a0skip<\/strong>\u00a0synchronization of the invoice <\/strong>and\u00a0payment<\/strong>\u00a0to safeguard you from having duplicates. The fact that the payment is skipped leads to the\u00a0Synced with warnings<\/em>\u00a0status.\u00a0<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    In other words, you needn\u2019t worry about this\u00a0Synced with warnings<\/em>\u00a0status: Synder works correctly, protecting your books from having duplicates and accounts for Pin Payments fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
