Please use the QuickBooks Online website to make these changes.<br><strong>Error:<\/strong> The account period has closed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What It Means<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The account period was <strong>closed<\/strong> in QuickBooks\/Xero, and you can no longer sync transactions into it or edit it any other way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Possible Reasons<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You are trying to sync transactions for a period that has already been reconciled and closed in your accounting company, which is not allowed by the accounting system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Fix It<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>It is possible to <a href=\"https:\/\/quickbooks.intuit.com\/learn-support\/en-us\/help-article\/customer-company-settings\/edit-closed-books\/L76xHuaZ5_US_en_US\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">re-open the period<\/a> in your accounting company. Please refer to how-to guides of your accounting company to learn how it is done.
