Connect your Amazon store<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Almost there! To complete the setup, you just need to connect your Amazon Seller Central account from any region to Synder, along with other sales platforms. Switch to the needed Organization in the top-left corner of the Synder page.<br>2. Click on the&nbsp;<em>Person icon<\/em>&nbsp;in the upper-right corner and select&nbsp;<em>Organization settings<\/em>.<br>3. In the&nbsp;<em>Integrations<\/em>&nbsp;section, click&nbsp;<em>Add integration<\/em>.<br>4. Select Amazon and click on <em>Connect<\/em>. If you don\u2019t have admin rights, send an invitation to the account owner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-advgb-images-slider advgb-images-slider-block\"><div class=\"advgb-images-slider\" data-slick=\"{&quot;rtl&quot;: false}\"><div class=\"advgb-image-slider-item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/Connect-Amazon-3.png\" class=\"advgb-image-slider-img\" alt=\"Slider image\" style=\"width:100%;height:auto\"\/><div class=\"advgb-image-slider-item-info\" style=\"justify-content:center;align-items:center\"><\/div><\/div><div class=\"advgb-image-slider-item\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/08\/Connect-Amazon-4.png\" class=\"advgb-image-slider-img\" alt=\"Slider image\" style=\"width:100%;height:auto\"\/><div class=\"advgb-image-slider-item-info\" style=\"justify-content:center;align-items:center\"><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 id=\"3\"><strong>Tips and tricks on Amazon integration<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note 1: <\/strong><a href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/how-to-sync-historical-transactions\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Importing historical transactions <\/a>from Amazon, please, note that you can not import more than 6 months &#8211; 1 year of historical sales and 2 years of historical payouts due to the API limitation (API is like a language apps use to talk with each other). <strong>On a trial<\/strong>, you can go 1 month back to import your historical data and try the system.<br><strong>Note 2: <\/strong>&nbsp;Due to agreements with specific states in the USA, Amazon collects taxes on your behalf. However, these taxes are still to be accounted for in your books, as they are associated with your business. Synder will handle it properly and record all the details, including taxes.<br><strong>Note 3: <\/strong>We recommend turning on <em>Apply generic customer<\/em> in the Synder settings for Amazon in the <strong>Sales <\/strong>tab and typing in <em>Amazon customer<\/em> so it\u2019s auto-applied to all synced transactions from Amazon. Due to API restrictions, Synder cannot transfer Amazon customers\u2019 details at the moment, so each transaction would otherwise have a newly generated customer name.<br><strong>Note 4:<\/strong> Synder is able to apply classes to your expenses so that you don\u2019t have to do that manually, thanks to its brand-new <a href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/how-rules-work-in-synder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">smart rules feature<\/a>. Check out <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=0t68zn2gsKk&amp;t=28s&amp;ab_channel=SynderApp\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">How to categorize Amazon Fees with Synder Smart rules<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/synder.com\/help\/apply-classes-to-expenses-automatically\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">apply classes to Expenses<\/a>.<br><strong>Note 5:&nbsp;<\/strong>Amazon payouts&nbsp;<strong>can be synced into your accounting software 14 days after they were imported to Synder&nbsp;<\/strong>due to the Amazon API restriction (API is like a language apps use to talk with each other). During this time, the payouts will have the \u201cPending\u201d status in Synder, and then they will be synced automatically.<br><strong>Note 6:<\/strong> If your Amazon account hasn&#8217;t been connected, you are likely to have selected the wrong location, i.e., a country name. To connect the correct Amazon account, please click on the Person icon in the upper-right corner and select Organization settings \u2192 click on <em>Add integration<\/em> \u2192 select Amazon and choose the correct location \u2192 click on <em>Connect<\/em>.<br><strong>Note 7.<\/strong> Synder currently integrates with Amazon Seller Central.
