In this guide, you will learn how to reconcile your sales platforms transactions synchronized by Synder to your Checking bank account in Xero. You can do it in one of two ways.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1) Proper Synder setup<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    Once you have connected your payment system and accounting platform to Synder, all you need to do is synchronize your transactions. Synder will automatically create a clearing account in your Chart of Accounts <\/strong>for you, called \u201cPlatform Bank Account\u201d (for example, \u201cStripe Bank account (required for Synder)\u201d or \u201cShopify Bank Account (required for Synder)\u201d). On this account, you will see all the transactions created by Synder in your accounting<\/strong>.
    Note: if you connect several platforms, you will have a     clearing account<\/a> for each <\/strong>payment system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    For smooth reconciliation, make sure that:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1 \u2014 you have the Payouts<\/em> feature enabled in Synder settings:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Go to the Settings<\/strong><\/em> on the left-side menu.<\/li>
    2. Choose the needed integration from the dropdown.<\/li>
    3. Open the Payouts<\/em> tab.<\/li>
    4. Turn the \u201cProcess payouts<\/em>\u201d switcher on.<\/li>
    5. Select your Checking account from the dropdown.<\/li>
    6. Click Update<\/strong>.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

      Important note<\/strong>: With Synder, there is no need to create your deposits equal to your net sales manually (or Add them automatically on your Bank Feeds). Synder will do that for you by creating a Transfer from the clearing account to the checking account<\/strong> for each net amount deposit so that you will just need to confirm the match in Xero \u2192 Checking account reconciliation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      2 \u2014 you’ve synchronized all payment platform payouts (settlements) into your Xero company with Synder:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

      1. Go to Platform transactions<\/strong> in Synder.<\/li>
      2. Filter transactions by Transaction type<\/strong> \u2014 Payout<\/em> (Settlement<\/em> for some integrations) and hit the Apply filter<\/strong> button.<\/li>
      3. Make sure all payouts are synced successfully to your Xero company.<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n

        Precisely, the Payouts feature will help you reconcile all synced data in one click.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

        2) How to match records in your Bank Feeds in Xero<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

        1. Go to your Checking account Bank Feeds (or upload your Bank Statement to Xero if needed).
        2. Make sure you see the bank record needed highlighted green on the Match<\/strong><\/em> tab (if it is not, please click on the Find & Match<\/strong><\/em> tab and find the matching transfer created by Synder).
        3. Click OK<\/strong> <\/em>to confirm the match.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
